The Monaco Grand Prix is the biggest sporting spectacle of the year and when it started in 1929 it was an invitation only event, luckily these days everyone can join in the fun. What is so thrilling about the race is that the spectators are within feet of the formula one car's as they travel at speeds of over 80 mph, around the twisting streets of Monti Carlo's 78-lap circuit. It is an exhilarating event, charged by the screaming high powered engines and the roar of the crowd.

If you fancy a less crowded grand prix , try the Monaco classic Grand Prix which is held a week prior to the actual Grand Prix . It features all of the classic formula one cars and has all the glamour with out the big crowds and the big price tag at 30 euro.
